Summary
The Project Analyst/Finance Project Manager will be responsible with overseeing and overseeing multiple departmental projects, project planning, preparing and maintaining documentation, reviewing contracts and financials, monitoring project activities, and evaluating the overall project. The Finance Project Manager will act as a bridge between the upper management and the Teammates responsible for the execution of the project. They will ensure that the project runs smoothly and stays on schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluating the current improvement needs of the Department, plan and develop project ideas as well as develop strategies and establish KPI’s for existing on-going project
- ERP project oversight.
- Conducting and presenting a feasibility analysis for proposed projects.
- Monitoring and evaluating the overall project.
- Analyzing project data and producing insights to optimize performance.
- Identifying problems and shortfalls and proposing solutions.
- Providing operational support such as liaising with cross-discipline stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.
- Developing, preparing, reviewing, maintaining and presenting project documentation and status reports.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule
- Leading the development of formal documentation such as policies and procedures, user manuals/job aids, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the stakeholders.
- Conducting regular project check ins to ensure progress tracking for each contributing Teammates
- Leading post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as a Financials or Business Analyst is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Experience as a project manager, IT project manager or ERP project manager is required.
- Understanding of ERP implementation.
- 3+ years of Physician Organization or Health Plan, Hospital Finance and/or Health Plan experience (operations, objectives, processes and information flow).
- Strong understanding and experience of project management software: Smartsheet & Blackline
- Smartsheet Project Management Certification required
- Strong understanding of SQL database management, Sage100, EZ-Cap, MS Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
